Five cities in the southern United States occupied the top five spots as the nation's 100 spring allergy capitals, according to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America's annual rankings for 2005.
The foundation said it compared recorded pollen counts, actual medication use, and the number of board-certified allergists in each metropolitan area.
